The following documents are required for the Freedom to Marry Certificate (certificate of noimpediment)
• Full Birth Certificate and Passport. (Please bring your original birth certificate to resort)
• Applicants residing in Ireland should make their application to the Dept Foreign Affairs and applicants resident in the UK should apply to the Irish Embassy, London. After completing the forms, the documents are then sent to the Irish Embassy in Ankara for processing. Our Wedding co-ordinator will collect the documents on your behalf with a letter of authorisation.
• If either or both persons are Divorcees, the Divorce Certificate, or, if a previous spouse is deceased, the Death Certificate is needed.
• If your name has changed by deed poll, legal proof is required.
• If under 18 years of age, the Irish Circuit Court will issue an order granting freedom to marry.
• Forms must not be completed earlier than 3 months prior to the date of marriage. The Freedom to Marry Certificate is valid 90 days after the date of issue.
• Six recent colour passport photographs of each person. (To be given to your wedding co-ordinator at the resort.) This is required for the paper work and for your marriage certificate)
• Blood tests are required by everyone wishing to marry in Turkey.
• *Two witnesses. Please inform us if you would like us to arrange this for you. Immediate family ie. Parents or siblings cannot be witnesses, but aunts, uncles and cousins are allowed.

Your Wedding co-ordinator will assist you in the final completion of the paperwork prior to your wedding and will be present during the ceremony to ensure that everything runs smoothly. (Civil ceremonies are conducted in English and Turkish).

We strongly recommend that you take two sets of photocopies of all documents, one to be left at home, and the other to be submitted to our Wedding Planner.
